Overview Points

Automated Fin Placement

Servo-driven sucker picks fins from hopper, places at exact pitch. One operator runs 3-4 machines.

Hydraulic Tube Expanding

200-400 mm/s expanding speed pushes aluminum tubes through fins for tight heat-exchange lamination.

Fast Cycle Time

2 seconds per fin with 100-600 mm working lengths. No retooling required for size changes.

Standard Fin Compatibility

Handles 0.12-0.25 mm thickness, 14+2 holes per row at 38.1 mm pitch, 22 mm row spacing.

Mitsubishi Controls

PLC, HMI, servo motors with Panasonic safety systems deliver repeatable positioning accuracy.

Multi-Shape Hopper

Accommodates 5 different fin shapes with automatic feeding, reducing changeover time.

Premium Components

PMI/TBI/Hiwin guides, CKD vacuum, Schneider apparatus, Delta VFD for global service support.

Proven Design

Patent-protected with 25+ optimizations from 2 years of OEM facility production validation.

Key Features

A Mitsubishi servo motor drives the sucker positioning system along precision linear rails (PMI/TBI/Hiwin screw guides), placing each fin into the mould at the programmed pitch — 5 mm or 7 mm — with no cumulative drift. This eliminates the alignment inconsistencies inherent in manual stacking and maintains uniform airflow channels across the finished evaporator core.

The hydraulic system operates at 5–7 MPa, driving the expanding mandrel through the fin stack at 200–400 mm/s. This speed, combined with the 2-second-per-fin aligning cycle, keeps total assembly time low enough for high-volume refrigerator production lines. Tight mechanical contact between Φ8 mm aluminum tubes and fins directly improves thermal conductivity of the finished heat exchanger.

Working length adjusts from 100 to 600 mm, row count from 2 to 5, and the fin hopper accepts up to 5 distinct fin shapes — covering the majority of no-frost evaporator specifications without requiring a separate machine. The 419.1 mm working width is the standard dimension, with customization available for non-standard cores.

Every control and motion component is sourced from a documented supplier: Mitsubishi PLC/HMI/servo, Panasonic sensors and safety grating, Delta VFD, Schneider electrical protection, CKD vacuum system, Meanwell power supplies, and Weidmuller terminals. This component transparency simplifies maintenance planning and spare-parts procurement for factories worldwide.

Panasonic safety grating protects the working zone during each hydraulic cycle. The fully automatic pick-and-place sequence requires no manual fin handling, reducing repetitive-strain risk and allowing a single operator to manage 3–4 machines — a direct labor cost reduction versus conventional manual aligning stations.

Technical Specifications

The automatic fin aligning and expanding machine is the up to date machine for no frost refrigerator evaporator fin and tube assembling work. Compare to traditional fin aligning manually, the automatic machine take fin by sucker and put fin in molds in exact position by servo motor control. With hydraulic pushing device to push aluminum tube into fin alignment with expanding, the aluminum fin will laminate on tube tightly for better heat exchange efficiency.
