Overview Points

Multi-Layer Forming

Forms 2-3 layer sleeves from aluminum foil, fiberglass, kraft paper, or PVC in 8-150mm diameters.

Simultaneous Feed System

Multiple spool holders enable in-line lamination and spiral forming without secondary processing.

Precision Drive Control

4 KW gear-chain system maintains 120 r/min speed with ±5mm/±1% dimensional tolerances.

Flexible Performance

Minimum 1.5× inner diameter bending radius with no flanging, delamination, or deformation.

Dual Model Range

FTD80 (8-80mm) and FTD150 (80-150mm) models match specific factory product requirements.

Custom Material Combinations

2-to-5-layer structures configurable for aluminum-fiberglass, aluminum-kraft, PVC-aluminum builds.

Thermal Protection Specs

90% radiant heat reflection with -30°C to +120°C operating temperature range capability.

Compact Integration

2000×1500×1300mm footprint at 860kg integrates into existing production lines easily.

Key Features

The machine feeds and spirally forms 2 to 5 distinct material layers — including aluminum foil, fiberglass cloth, kraft paper, and PVC — into a finished tubular sleeve in a single pass. This eliminates separate lamination steps and reduces work-in-process inventory, giving manufacturers the flexibility to switch between material combinations for different OEM specifications.

A gear-and-chain drive system paired with a precision circular forming head maintains node density above 400 nodes per meter and holds length tolerances to ±5 mm (under 400 mm) or ±1% (400 mm and above). Operators can produce roll lengths up to 5 meters per piece with repeatable results, minimizing scrap and rework.

The welded steel frame, belt-and-pulley transmission, and hardened forming dies are designed for continuous industrial operation. With a 4 KW motor running at 380 V (customizable voltage available), the machine balances energy efficiency with the torque needed for forming rigid aluminum composites at 120 r/min.

A dedicated electrical control panel with clearly accessible emergency stop ensures safe operation. The enclosed forming zone and protective housing reduce exposure to rotating components, supporting compliance with factory safety standards.

Two model variants cover 8–80 mm and 80–150 mm diameter ranges, and the forming toolset can be adapted for wall thicknesses from 1 to 2.3 mm. NTBOBO maintains over 300 moulds for customized production, enabling rapid tooling changes to serve automotive, aerospace, marine, and HVAC protection sleeve markets.
