Two independent processing lines share a single machine frame, each with its own de-coiler, straightening rollers, and cutting unit. Operators can configure each line for different tube diameters or cut lengths via the PLC, so a single KC-I replaces two standalone machines while occupying roughly half the combined floor space.
The servo-driven feeding system uses a HIWIN ball screw to position tube lengths within ±0.5 mm accuracy at a working speed of 10 seconds per 1,000 mm. Straightening rollers remove coil memory from copper capillary tube (OD 1.8–3.2 mm), delivering straight, burr-minimized pieces ready for downstream assembly.
A KINCO HMI with English-language interface lets operators set cut length (minimum 250 mm), feed speed, and batch quantity without manual calculation. The Mitsubishi PLC stores job parameters, enabling fast changeover between production orders and reducing the risk of operator error.
Core drive and control hardware — Mitsubishi servo motors and PLC, Schneider contactors, HIWIN linear guides — are selected for durability in continuous-run factory environments. The 5.5 kW, 380 V three-phase power system (customizable to local standards) supports stable operation at 0.5–0.7 MPa working pressure.
Fully automatic workflow from coil feed to finished-tube unloading eliminates manual measuring and cutting steps. The collection tray gathers cut tubes for easy transfer to the next process, allowing a single operator to oversee production and focus on quality checks rather than repetitive handling.
