Key Features

Unlike saw or rotary-blade cutting, the chipless pull-apart cutting mechanism leaves zero metal chips or internal burrs. This is critical for refrigeration tubing where even microscopic debris can block capillary tubes, damage expansion valves, or shorten compressor life. Tubes come off the machine ready for the next process step without secondary deburring.

The straightening section uses multiple sets of adjustable rollers arranged on different axes to progressively remove coil memory from steel and Bundy tubes. This delivers uniform straightness across the full 4–8 mm diameter range, ensuring tubes fit correctly into fin packs and heat exchanger assemblies without manual correction.

A TECO PLC paired with a TAIAN HMI touchscreen gives operators direct control over cut length, line speed, and batch count. Recipe storage allows quick changeover between tube specifications. The Omron encoder feeds real-time length data back to the PLC, maintaining ±0.5 mm/m accuracy regardless of speed setting.

Schneider contactors, TECO inverter drive, and CHNT pneumatic cylinders are selected for durability in factory environments running multiple shifts. The 1.12 kW motor keeps energy consumption low while delivering consistent feed force across the full 0–60 m/min speed range. The powder-coated steel frame resists corrosion and simplifies long-term maintenance.

At just 2300 × 650 mm in floor space, the machine slots between an uncoiler and a tube bending or assembly station without rearranging the production layout. Air supply requirement of 0.6–0.8 MPa aligns with standard factory compressed-air systems, avoiding the need for dedicated pneumatic infrastructure.
