Key Features

Switching between filter core diameters — anywhere from 40 mm to 150 mm — requires only a straightforward mechanical adjustment on the forming head. This keeps changeover time short and allows a single machine to serve multiple filter product lines without dedicated tooling swaps.

The integrated PLC manages strip feeding, spiral forming, and fly-cut length control in a coordinated sequence. Operators set the target length, and the system cuts on the fly at full line speed, eliminating stop-start cycles and maintaining output at 1.2–1.6 m/min.

A fluid-driven power train provides high, stable torque to the forming assembly regardless of material thickness variations within the 0.20–0.40 mm range. The result is uniform spiral pitch and reliable core roundness — critical parameters for filter cores that must seat precisely inside a filter canister.

The decoiler, forming unit, and fly cutter are engineered as a single integrated line. The main unit measures 1300 × 1000 × 1400 mm and weighs 800 kg, making it practical for workshops with limited floor space. An accompanying unloading rack (1200 × 800 × 760 mm) keeps finished cores organized downstream.

Accepts 50 mm or 60 mm wide strip stock, and the adjustable clutch accommodates strip thicknesses from 0.20 mm up to 0.40 mm. This allows production of both lightweight filter cores for passenger vehicles and heavier-gauge cores for commercial or industrial filtration applications.
