Key Features
The roller assembly locks Pittsburgh seams in one continuous pass along the duct length, producing a uniform, airtight joint without repositioning. This eliminates the inconsistencies common with manual mallets and hand seamers, improving duct integrity and reducing air leakage across the system.
Unlike stationary seam-closing machines, this tool is designed to go where the ductwork is. Weighing only a few kilograms and powered through a standard electrical outlet, it can be carried up ladders, across rooftops, and into tight mechanical spaces — making it practical for both prefabrication shops and field installation crews.
With a working range of 0.6–1.5 mm plate thickness and 8–12 mm flange heights, the tool covers galvanized steel, aluminum, and stainless steel sheets used across residential, commercial, and industrial duct systems. No tooling swaps are needed within this range.
The 500W motor drives the forming rollers at 6–10 m/min, fast enough to maintain production pace yet controlled enough to follow curved duct profiles without deforming the seam. Motor-driven operation removes operator speed variation from the process.
The dual-handle layout distributes reaction force between both hands, reducing wrist strain during long seaming runs. The auxiliary handle also acts as a guide lever, letting the operator steer the tool smoothly along straight or radiused seams.
