Key Features

The elliptical translation curve roller pass geometry applies corrective force gradually across nine rollers, eliminating common defects such as spiral indentation and surface scratching. Output camber of ≤0.8mm/m is achieved in a single pass, even from incoming stock bent up to 30mm/m, reducing rework and downstream rejection rates.

Two Y160L-6/4 motors (9/11 kW each) drive all rollers in both directions through a 10.35:1 transmission ratio. This eliminates slippage and ensures uniform material feed at 22–32 m/min, allowing operators to match line speed to upstream or downstream processes without sacrificing straightening quality.

Each of the nine straightening rolls is machined from 9Cr2Mo chromium-molybdenum alloy steel — a grade selected for its high hardness, wear resistance, and dimensional stability under continuous thermal cycling. The Φ150 × 260 mm roll size provides a wide contact zone that distributes straightening force evenly, extending intervals between roll replacement.

A single machine handles both ferrous metals (carbon steel, stainless steel) and non-ferrous metals (copper, aluminum, brass) across a wide diameter range. Switching between pipe and solid bar work requires only roller gap adjustment via the handwheels — no changeover of roll sets is needed within the specified diameter range.

At 2500 × 900 × 1700 mm, the machine occupies a modest footprint while its heavy-gauge welded housing and precision-bored bearing seats maintain alignment under sustained production loads. The painted finish provides corrosion protection suited to factory floor environments.

This machine is a vertical tube and bar straightening machine, which is made up of horizontal crossover arrangement of straightening rollers and full drive in both directions. The pass of straightening rollers is elliptical translation curve, which is used to straighten the bending degree of all kinds of pipes (bars), so as to ensure that there is no screw indentation, scratch and other defects on the surface of straightened materials, and improve the ellipticity of section.
