A cylindrical indexing cam paired with gear transmission replaces traditional connecting-rod linkages, reducing mechanical failure points while delivering repeatable, accurate motion across every forming station. The single-plate cam structure keeps cycle times short and consistent at 60–80 bowls per minute.
All forming molds sit on the table surface, fully separated from the drive system housed in the rack box below. Operators can inspect, clean, or swap molds without accessing the transmission, cutting changeover and maintenance time significantly compared to enclosed-frame designs.
The full square-steel body structure totals 3,300 kg, providing the mass and rigidity needed to dampen vibration during continuous high-speed production. This prevents station misalignment and extends the service life of tooling and bearings.
A timed automatic spray lubrication system keeps all cam surfaces and moving joints properly oiled without operator involvement. Photoelectric sensors and a fault alarm system detect paper feed errors, misfeeds, or station jams instantly, reducing waste and unplanned downtime.
The drive system uses a Delta frequency converter and INVT servo motor for precise speed control, while Schneider contactors, Omron connectors, and Panasonic photoelectric sensors handle power switching and detection. CHNT air switches and Kejian ultrasonics round out a control architecture built for reliability in three-shift factory environments.

The fully automatic open cam medium-speed paper bowl machine adopts a table-top layout, isolates the forming mold from the transmission part, and sets the transmission parts in the rack box under the table. The machine has an automatic spray lubrication system, which adopts a combination of longitudinal axis transmission structure, cylindrical indexing structure and gear transmission. Each forming mold is set on the table, which is convenient for cleaning and maintenance.
The cylindrical indexing cam has only one aluminum plate to complete the cup making structure, which makes the machine faster and smaller. It has photoelectric detection, fault alarm, counting and other functions. Through automatic transmission, continuous processes such as paper feeding, sealing (bonding cup type), oil filling, bottom punching, bottom turning, heating, knurling, hemming, cup unloading, etc. Ideal equipment for paper bowls, etc., with a capacity of up to 60 pcs/min.
