Feeding, heading, bending, and thread rolling are performed sequentially on a single frame, removing the need for separate stations, conveyors, or manual part transfer. This consolidation cuts floor space, reduces work-in-progress inventory, and lowers the operator count per line.
The machine feeds wire at up to 130 pieces per minute and forms at 80 pieces per minute. Mechanical synchronization between the feed and forming stations ensures each spoke receives uniform head geometry, bend angle, and thread profile — critical for wheel assembly balance and ride safety.
Supporting Φ2–5 mm wire and 140–250 mm cut-off lengths, the machine handles spokes for small-displacement scooters through to heavy-duty motorcycles. Changeover involves swapping accessible dies and adjusting feed length, keeping downtime between batches to a minimum.
At 2,260 kg, the bolted-down base and heavy-gauge steel frame absorb the cyclic impact loads of heading and rolling operations. Visible gear and belt drive trains are designed for straightforward inspection, tensioning, and replacement without specialized tools.
Replaceable accessories and mold sets allow the same machine to switch between motorcycle and bicycle spoke production. Factories serving both markets can maximize equipment utilization without investing in a second dedicated line.
