Key Features

Profiling speed reaches 30 m/min through 22 precisely aligned forming stations, converting coiled sheet metal into finished TDC flange profiles in a single continuous pass. This eliminates batch processing delays common with press-brake methods.

Every forming roller is machined from GCr15 bearing steel, quenched to HRC 58–62, and coated with hard chrome. This combination resists surface wear and maintains profile tolerances over hundreds of thousands of linear meters of production.

The following fly-cutting unit moves with the profile during the cut, so the forming line never stops. Operators can choose between a standard grinding wheel cutter for basic setups or an automatic high-speed cutter rated at 6 m/min for higher-volume facilities.

NTBOBO supplies matching duct corner connectors (T-20DC, T-30DC, T-35DC, T-40DC, BC-10) sized to each flange model. Combined with proper sealant application per DW144 standards, the assembled flange frame delivers reliable air-tight connections on large rectangular duct sections.

With 40 mm roller shafts mounted on a heavy steel base (machine weight up to 3,000 kg depending on model), the line absorbs forming forces without vibration-induced inaccuracy — while occupying a footprint as compact as 6000 × 1800 × 1500 mm.

Technical Specifications

tdC flange roll forming machine is mainly for manufacturing connecting flanges used in ventilation ducts. The finished flanges have many features such as high working efficiency, good sealing performance, good connecting results, etc. They are suitable for those ducts with large sections.

tdC flange roll forming machine is comprised of decoiler, main forming units and cutting system. There are two kind of cutting system, one is simple grinding wheel cutter and the other is automatic cutting with high cutting speed – 6m/min.

This series have four type: T-20,T-30, T-35, T-40.

1.1 Only normal fretsaw can cut the tdC flange angle. The length of flange angle should be 30mm less than each duct edge. Cutting direction should be as mentioned in the left to avoid destroying the structure  After cutting, the section should be smoothen.
1.2 Insert the angle completely into the end of flanges and fixed it properly and thus the whole flange frame is formed.
1.3 Install the flange frame onto the duct, from one edge to whole flange.
1.4 Fix the flange frame on the duct by spot weld or nail. Fixing distance should be according to Standard DW144 table 5.
1.5 Suggest to apply suitable sealant onto the inner side and outer side of whole flange and flange angle after fixing.
