Each forming station operates independently with its own controller, allowing operators to run different materials — aluminum composite film on one side, non-woven fabric or PVC film on the other — simultaneously. This eliminates the downtime of switching materials on a single-station machine and effectively doubles material flexibility without doubling floor space.
At 65 m/min, the AFD-600S delivers forming speeds well above industry averages. The machine maintains stable spiral winding and seaming at this speed across the full 80–600 mm diameter range, giving manufacturers the throughput needed for large HVAC insulation pipe orders without sacrificing seam integrity.
The machine uses hot melt adhesive instead of solvent-based glue or oven-cured bonding. This means no volatile organic compound emissions on the shop floor, no drying or curing stations downstream, and a finished duct that is immediately ready for packaging or further processing.
From thin 0.02 mm PET aluminum film to 0.08 mm non-woven composite, the AFD-600S handles the materials most commonly specified for HVAC flexible insulation ducts. Strip width is matched to each diameter bracket (30 mm at ¢80 mm, scaling to 35–40 mm at ¢300–600 mm), and the machine can be customized further to match specific customer material and size requirements.
Weighing 680 kg with dimensions of 2000 × 1500 × 1800 mm, the machine is sized for standard freight containers and fits into production areas alongside existing duct lines.
