Key Features

An ELESY servo motor drives the bending axis through a HIWIN ball screw and linear guide assembly, ensuring each bend lands at the programmed angle and radius with minimal deviation. This eliminates the trial-and-error common in manual or semi-automatic bending, reducing scrap rates on costly fin-and-tube assemblies.

The worktable rotates, moves vertically, and feeds linearly under coordinated PLC control. Operators load the evaporator, select the stored program on the Mitsubishi touch screen, and the machine executes the full bending sequence — no manual re-clamping or repositioning between bends.

The proprietary roller mechanism forms smooth, wrinkle-free bends from 1° through 180° and then retracts clear of the finished tube. This approach preserves tube roundness and internal flow area, which is critical for refrigerant circuit performance in HVAC and refrigeration coils.

The welded steel main frame is finished with powder coating for corrosion resistance. AIRTAC pneumatic cylinders handle clamping and positioning forces, while all drive components — servo, screw rod, linear guide — are selected for long service intervals and easy replacement.

The Mitsubishi HMI stores multiple bending programs, allowing line operators to switch between evaporator models in minutes. Feeding length, bend angle, and bend radius are all adjustable on-screen, supporting mixed-model production without mechanical tooling changes.

Technical Specifications

The evaporator end tube bending machine is used for aluminum tube bending on the two positions besides filter dryer, to get finished product automatically. The machine includes positioning device, clamping device, flexible bending roller device, worktable moving up and down device, feeding device and worktable rotating device, and the main frame and control system. Whole set machine is driven by pneumatic cylinder and servo motor, controlled by PLC and HMI. Work efficient is much more than traditional manual bending process.
