Choose between the vertical model for taller duct sections (up to 1550 mm length, 1.2 mm thickness) and the horizontal model for wider format work (down to 150×150 mm ducts, up to 1.5 mm thickness). Both are engineered for TDF-only seam locking, eliminating unnecessary complexity and keeping operation straightforward.
The vertical duct zipper delivers a forming speed of 24 m/min, enabling operators to close seams on high volumes of rectangular ductwork without bottlenecking downstream assembly. This throughput makes it practical for both dedicated fabrication shops and prefabrication lines.
Pneumatic actuation keeps noise levels low enough for on-site installation work in occupied buildings — a real advantage for retrofit HVAC projects where work happens alongside building tenants or other trades.
The vertical model’s painted steel frame, hydraulic power unit with pressure gauge, and chain-driven tooling carriage are built for shift-after-shift reliability. At 1.7 tons, the vertical unit offers the rigidity needed for consistent seam quality on galvanized and low carbon steel without frame flex or vibration drift.
