Key Features

One machine replaces four standalone units — decoiler/straightener, cutter, end-former, and winder. Material feeds automatically through straightening wheels, is cut to programmed length, formed at the tube end per customer drawings, and wound into coils, all without manual transfer between stations. Preset counting and automatic feeding keep the line running with minimal operator intervention.

Cutting error stays within ≤1 mm over a 1,000 mm tube. End-forming holds inner-diameter shrinkage to ≤0.1 mm and deformation to ≤10%. Winding accuracy is controlled to ±0.50 mm on bending radius and ±0.5 mm on center distance and installation height. These tolerances ensure capillary tubes fit directly into evaporator, condenser, and heat-exchanger assemblies without rework.

The dual-station layout lets operators process two different tube specifications or lengths at the same time. Each workstation — feeding, cutting, forming, winding — has independent control, so a format change on one station does not halt production on the other. This is particularly valuable for HVAC and refrigeration plants that manage multiple SKUs on tight delivery schedules.

The control architecture pairs a Mitsubishi PLC and servo drives with a WEINVIEW touchscreen HMI, Schneider/Omron low-voltage electrical components, Omron/Autonics proximity switches, and AirTAC pneumatics. These are globally available brands with established spare-parts networks, simplifying long-term maintenance regardless of plant location.

Yellow mesh safety guarding encloses moving mechanisms. Software-level protections — convex-platform detection, material-out alarm, and insufficient-stock shutdown — prevent damage to tooling and reject production of out-of-spec tubes before they reach downstream processes.
