The SFR-220 maintains inner hole and outer diameter errors within ±3 mm and pitch deviation within ±5 mm across the full forming range. This level of consistency reduces scrap, eliminates rework, and ensures spiral blades assemble directly onto shafts without costly manual correction.
One pair of conical rolls handles strip widths from 20 to 120 mm, thicknesses from 2 to 6 mm, and pitches from 60 to 750 mm. Operators switch between blade specifications through mechanical screw adjustment rather than full tooling changeovers, cutting downtime between production runs significantly.
Unlike hydraulic machines that require fluid management, seal replacement, and pump maintenance, the SFR-220 uses a mechanical screw adjustment system. This reduces the number of wear components, simplifies troubleshooting, and keeps long-term maintenance costs predictable. Total power draw is just 26 kW.
At 3.6 tons, the machine provides the rigidity needed for continuous cold rolling while remaining transportable and easy to position on the shop floor.
