Key Features
The TW19B-4SUL uses four forging stations with a 114mm die pitch to progressively shape wire stock into finished hex screw blanks. Each station performs a discrete forming step — upsetting, trimming, hexagon forming, and final shaping — so the complete blank emerges ready for thread rolling without secondary heading operations.
A bevel gear pair on the crankshaft drives a cam-actuated scissor slider for feeding and cutting. This arrangement minimizes friction and impact forces between moving components, reducing vibration and noise during continuous operation while improving blank cut quality and dimensional consistency.
Rated at 70 pieces per minute, the machine is built for factories running extended shifts. The integrated vibratory bowl feeder keeps blanks oriented and flowing into the die area without operator intervention, supporting near-continuous output with minimal downtime between coil changes.
With a maximum cut-off diameter of 15mm and cut-off length of 380mm, the TW19B-4SUL handles hex screws from M6 through M12 in lengths from 100mm to 300mm. Over 300 mould sets are available from NTBOBO for custom head profiles and special fastener geometries.
The heavy-duty steel frame absorbs the 120-ton forging load without deflection. Hardened die holders, precision-ground guides, and enclosed safety guards protect both operators and tooling, keeping maintenance intervals predictable and replacement part costs low.
Technical Specifications
Our company’s cold heading machine (cold header machine) is a kind of stamping machine in mechanical manufacturing. When raw materials are not softened or hardened, they can be shaped to the required shape.
A pair of bevel gears are installed on one end of the crankshaft, a cam device is installed on the driven bevel gear shaft, and a scissor slider is vertically installed on the driven roller shaft of the cam device.
The friction coefficient and impact force between the parts of the feeding and cutting mechanism are very small, which makes the equipment run smoothly, effectively reduces the running noise, and greatly improves the product quality and productivity.
