Three Delta servo motors independently drive the feeding axis, rotation axis, and punching mechanism, achieving ±0.1 mm linear accuracy and 0.1° angular precision. Ball screws paired with HIWIN precision guide rails eliminate backlash, so hole pitch, diameter, and angular position remain repeatable across thousands of cycles without manual correction.
The machine combines punching and collar forming into two dedicated stations that operate in a single automated sequence. Press-type holes complete in 3–7 seconds; pull-type collar holes complete in 12–25 seconds. Hydraulic clamping at up to 650 kg and punching force up to 1,500 kg handle soft, semi-rigid, copper, aluminum, and stainless steel tubes without deformation.
An upgraded die architecture allows operators to swap punch assemblies — outer tube, mandrel, punch head, and drill — without extensive re-alignment. With access to NTBOBO’s library of 300+ moulds, manufacturers can adapt the machine to new tube diameters and hole specifications with minimal downtime.
The welded-profile frame undergoes vibration aging before final machining, stabilizing internal stresses to maintain datum plane accuracy over years of hydraulic cycling. All components receive application-specific surface treatments — electroplating, quenching, carburizing, or electrostatic powder coating — matched to their operating loads and environment.
The hydraulic system automatically shuts down during extended idle periods, reducing energy consumption and oil degradation. Warning signs are installed at all pinch points, the control circuit includes overload protection, and the electrical installation meets national standards with reliable grounding. VDE-standard V-slot wiring inside the all-plastic comb-hole cabinet simplifies troubleshooting and maintenance.
