Key Features
The X-axis carries three tool positions — spinning wheel, trimming blade, and ID lathing blade — that engage sequentially during each cycle. This consolidates tube end shrinking, end trimming, and ID chamfering into a single clamping, eliminating repositioning errors and reducing per-part cycle time to under 28 seconds.
Mitsubishi servo motors drive ball-screw and HIWIN linear rail assemblies on both X and Y axes, achieving ±0.02mm tolerance with stepless speed control up to 200mm/s. The HUST CNC system stores up to 500 programs, allowing quick changeover between tube specifications without manual recalibration.
A hollow-type rotary cylinder with hydraulic pressure up to 4.0MPa locks the tube securely during high-speed spinning (0–2500 r/min, Siemens motor with INVT inverter and soft-brake). Different tube diameters are accommodated by swapping clamping dies — no structural adjustment required.
The built-in hopper feeds up to 50 tubes automatically for lengths between 80mm and 200mm. Pneumatic cylinders handle loading and unloading, keeping operator involvement to setup and monitoring. An automatic lubrication system dispenses 10ml every 30 minutes, with oil capacity for 100 hours of continuous operation.
A pressure-adjustable air blowing system clears cutting chips and cools the tube during trimming and chamfering. Blow point position and duration are programmable through the control panel, maintaining clean forming surfaces and protecting tooling life without manual cleanup between cycles.
