BO-650 Hydraulic Thread Rolling Machine

With 650KN of hydraulic force and a maximum thread diameter of Ø120mm, this machine handles large trapezoidal threads, module threads, and high-strength fastener blanks that exceed the capacity of standard 16–60 ton machines. The 6,100 kg cast and fabricated frame absorbs rolling forces without deflection, ensuring consistent thread geometry across production runs.

Five discrete spindle speeds — 16, 26, 38, 55, and 90 RPM — let operators select the ideal rolling rate for each job, whether forming fine-pitch threads on alloy steel or coarse trapezoidal profiles on nonferrous stock. The ±15° spindle tilt adjusts to match thread lead angles directly, eliminating the need for angled fixtures or shims.

Designed for cold forming carbon steel, alloy steel, and nonferrous metals with elongation above 10% and tensile strength below 100 N/mm². Cold-rolled threads produced on this machine develop an uninterrupted grain flow pattern, yielding higher fatigue resistance and tensile strength compared to cut threads.

The machine accepts rollers up to Ø290mm diameter and 200mm width, with a Ø100mm roller bore, supporting a broad range of standard and custom die tooling. This capacity enables single-pass rolling of wide or deep thread profiles, reducing cycle times on large workpieces.

A dedicated coolant circuit with flexible nozzles directs fluid precisely to the rolling zone, managing temperature and flushing chips to protect die surfaces. Built-in overhead lighting illuminates the work area for accurate workpiece positioning and visual quality checks during operation.
