Automatic Wire Rope Flat Head Fuse Machine

The industrial-grade touchscreen PLC system gives operators full control over fusing current, duration, and wire feed speed. Parameters can be saved as recipes for different wire rope specifications, making job changes fast and repeatable without trial-and-error adjustments.

The fusing electrodes use imported alloy copper chosen for its conductivity and hardness, maintaining consistent fuse quality over tens of thousands of cycles. Feed bars and guide bars undergo vacuum heat treatment to reach HRC 55–58, minimizing surface wear and ensuring long intervals between part replacements.

Precision roller-fed wire handling maintains stable tension and alignment through the entire fusing cycle. This eliminates the uneven results common with manual processing and supports continuous production at speeds that far exceed hand-operated methods.

By combining wire feeding, cutting, fusing, and flat-heading into a single automated sequence, the machine replaces multiple manual workstations. A single operator can monitor several units at once, directly lowering per-piece labor costs and freeing skilled workers for higher-value tasks.

The machine includes an emergency stop button, safety guards around the processing area, and a clearly accessible tooling zone for maintenance and die changes. The compact, enclosed design keeps moving parts shielded while providing easy access where it matters.
