Automatic Aluminum Foil Rewinding Machine

The PLC with LCD touchscreen HMI controls the entire rewinding cycle — gluing, foil loading, rewinding, length-based stopping, core changeover, and roll discharge. Operators set parameters once and the machine runs continuously, reducing manual intervention to jumbo roll replenishment and finished goods packing.

Programmable rewinding length from 2.5 m to 150 m per roll ensures accurate, repeatable output for every product specification. Web guiding and tension control systems maintain uniform winding across the full speed range of 0–180 m/min, preventing foil wrinkling or telescoping even at 0.008 mm thickness.

The built-in hot-melt glue system automatically applies adhesive to each paper core before foil contact, guaranteeing a secure start every cycle. The auto label sticking system affixes a branded paper label to the outer surface of each finished roll, delivering retail-ready product directly to the conveyor belt.

Handles aluminum foil thickness from 0.008 mm to 0.05 mm and widths from 300 mm to 500 mm. One set of rewinding cores is included at no additional cost, and the machine accepts jumbo rolls up to 600 mm diameter on standard 76 mm ID cores — compatible with common foil mill output.

At 1520 × 2200 × 2200 mm and 1.2 t, the machine fits into tight converting shop layouts. The 2.2 kW main motor keeps energy consumption low, while the robust painted steel frame, stainless steel contact surfaces, and pneumatic actuation deliver reliable operation across multi-shift production schedules.
