Key Features

A servo-linked bus architecture manages blade positioning, fold count, and paper feed speed from a single control panel. The system automatically adjusts knife distance to match the target fold height (30–100 mm), eliminating manual trial-and-error setups and keeping dimensional tolerances tight across long production runs.

The alternating upper-and-lower blade mechanism reaches 200 folds per minute while maintaining pleat flatness. Automatic fold counting lets operators set batch quantities and walk away, freeing labor for downstream assembly or quality checks.

An infrared monitoring system continuously matches the feeder’s output speed to the folding machine’s intake speed. This closed-loop synchronization prevents media slack or tension buildup, protecting delicate glass fiber paper from tearing and reducing material waste.

A 4 kW heating station with room-temperature-to-200 °C control thermally sets each pleat immediately after forming. Pre-shaped pleats hold their geometry during handling, gluing, and frame insertion — directly improving finished filter pass rates.

Beyond standard filter paper, the machine pleats iron wire cloth and non-woven fabric used in hydraulic filter elements. Multi-layer folding capability means a single line covers air filtration and hydraulic filtration media, maximizing equipment utilization for filter manufacturers serving multiple markets.
