Each axis is driven by an independent servo motor, all coordinated through a Taiwan-imported CNC controller. Motors can operate synchronously for complex coiling sequences or independently for specific forming adjustments. Cam positioning resolves to ±0.10°, giving operators exact angular control over helix pitch and insert geometry — essential for producing thread inserts that meet standard tolerance requirements.
An integrated precision testing and tracking system inspects output in real time. When an out-of-spec insert is detected, the machine stops automatically before defective parts accumulate. This closed-loop approach reduces scrap rates and eliminates the cost of sorting defective inserts after a production run.
The English-interface HMI displays live working conditions and allows operators to modify outer diameter, coil angle, and feeding parameters without halting the machine. Program storage supports quick recall of previous job settings, minimizing setup time when switching between insert sizes — particularly useful for shops producing multiple thread standards.
The machine detects wire breaks, disconnections, and tangles instantly, stopping operation to prevent tool damage and material waste. An automatic wire acceleration function brings the feed up to speed quickly after interruptions, keeping effective cycle times short. Combined with mechanical auto-lubrication, these features enable extended unattended operation with minimal operator supervision.
The BO-M14 handles M2–M14 inserts with a compact 0.75kW spinner motor, suited to electronics and light assembly applications. The BO-M40 scales up to M10–M40 with a 1.5kW spinner and 2.7kW wire feed motor, built for heavy-duty inserts used in automotive, aerospace, and structural applications. Both run on standard 380V 50Hz industrial power.
