Stainless steel metering pumps deliver an accurate, repeatable ratio of isocyanate and polyol under 5–10 MPa pressure. Digital temperature readouts and overload protection keep material conditions within specification, so operators produce uniform foam density with minimal waste.
The air-compressor-driven motor uses a bi-directional change-over mechanism that eliminates the voltage sensitivity and spark risk of electric motors. This makes the BDF-IX suitable for humid, dusty, or confined job-site environments where electrical equipment may be restricted or unreliable.
Each of the two material hoses is independently heated with an internal wrap design — a significant upgrade over external heating tape. With a maximum hose length of 90 meters, crews can cover large surface areas from a single machine position while the material arrives at the gun at the correct temperature and viscosity.
The 9.5 KW heating capacity across the main unit and hose lines allows continuous operation in low-temperature conditions. Separate aluminum heater blocks warm each component independently, and the digital controller prevents overheating that could degrade material quality.
At 125 kg on a wheeled chassis, the BDF-IX moves through doorways and onto freight elevators. An integrated DOP solvent tank simplifies cleaning between jobs. The stainless steel pump internals and robust sealing system reduce downtime from chemical corrosion — a common failure point in lower-cost machines.
