Key Features

The four-die rotary swaging process produces uniform tube end profiles that meet tight tolerances required for brazing and welding. A built-in core-bar maintains the tube’s inner diameter throughout forming, ensuring consistent fit with mating components and reducing reject rates at assembly.

The fully pneumatic drive system delivers responsive, repeatable force without hydraulic fluid. This means no oil leaks, no filter changes, and no contamination risk — particularly important when formed tubes proceed directly to brazing or refrigerant-side assembly where cleanliness is critical.

The forming head is housed in a cast iron enclosure that absorbs vibration and resists wear over hundreds of thousands of cycles. Powder-coated steel framing and an enclosed base cabinet protect electrical and pneumatic components from dust and shop debris.

With NTBOBO’s library of 300+ moulds, the machine can be configured for tube diameters from 4mm to 20mm and shrinking lengths from 5mm to 50mm. Changeover between die sets is straightforward, supporting mixed-product workshops that process different tube specifications in the same shift.

Manual tube loading allows the operator to visually inspect each piece before forming, catching upstream defects early. The simple control panel and pneumatic actuation require minimal training, making the machine suitable for facilities scaling up production without a large automation investment.
