Three independently servo-driven axes — feeding, rounding, and bending — work in coordination to produce accurate 3D tube geometries. The CNC controller calculates springback compensation and positions each axis to tight tolerances, ensuring every bent tube matches the programmed profile without manual adjustment.
Air-actuated clamps operating at 0.4–0.7 MPa lock the tube securely during each bend, then release instantly for indexing. This eliminates the slow response of hydraulic systems and the inconsistency of manual clamps, delivering shorter cycle times and uniform holding force across production runs.
The dual moving-head design lets operators swap bending dies rapidly, minimizing changeover time when switching between tube diameters or bend radii. With over 300 mould sets available from NTBOBO’s inventory, custom tooling can be matched to specific tube profiles and materials.
The integrated controller stores 900 bending programs, each defining a complete sequence of feed lengths, rotation angles, and bend degrees. Operators recall saved programs by number, eliminating re-programming for recurring jobs and reducing the risk of input errors on complex multi-bend parts.
Three machine sizes cover a broad application spectrum: the TB-12 handles small-diameter tubes up to 12.7 mm for compact heat exchangers, the TB-25 processes mid-range tubing up to 25 mm for HVAC condensers, and the TB-40 bends tubes up to 40 mm diameter with feed lengths to 3,000 mm for larger industrial assemblies.
