Key Features

The PLC-based control system with digital display gives operators direct adjustment of welding current and timing parameters. This level of control is critical when working with galvanized coatings or thin stainless steel — too much heat burns through the zinc layer or warps the sheet, while too little produces a cold joint. Operators can dial in settings per material type and save time during changeovers.

A pneumatic cylinder drives the upper electrode arm, delivering up to 393 N of force with repeatable accuracy on every stroke. Unlike manual or spring-loaded systems, pneumatic actuation eliminates operator fatigue as a variable, which matters on shift-long production runs of duct fittings and matched components.

Cooling lines circulate water through the electrode assemblies, drawing heat away from the contact tips during repetitive welding cycles. This prevents electrode mushrooming and maintains weld nugget consistency — reducing the frequency of tip dressing and replacement, and keeping per-unit costs low.

For duct assembly work where continuous seam welds are not required, spot welding significantly reduces energy consumption and equipment investment. The DN-40 handles the same material combinations at a fraction of the operating cost, making it a practical choice for fabrication shops producing flanged connections, brackets, and reinforcement joints.

The painted steel mainframe is designed for factory-floor durability, with a footprint of just 1100 × 550 mm. At 236 kg, the machine is stable enough for heavy-duty use yet compact enough to position alongside spiral duct formers, TDF flange machines, or other downstream equipment in a typical HVAC production line.
