Key Features

The integrated pressure ring and plate mechanism inside the drawing drum progressively presses the tube downward during each revolution, preventing tube bounce defects common in thin-wall draws. Combined with a heat-treated, mirror-polished drum surface (HRC 48–50), the machine produces consistent wall thickness and smooth outer surfaces on tubes as small as Φ3×0.3mm.

PLC program control coordinates the entire sequence — from coil feeding and die engagement through drawing, automatic lead-end cutting, and recoiling. Pneumatic positioning of the mold box and automatic locking of the drawing arm via proximity switch eliminate manual intervention during normal operation, allowing a single operator to manage the line.

Coil-to-coil design means no stop-and-start between tube lengths. At a maximum drawing speed of 100 m/min, the machine sustains continuous output. The winding carriage with pneumatic cylinder-driven reel changeover minimizes downtime between finished coils.

The DL1200-B weighs approximately 5,500 kg with a welded steel frame, dual linear guide rails on the mold box lift, and industrial-grade gear reducers on both the main drive and winding carriage. Variable-frequency AC motor drive provides stepless speed adjustment while reducing mechanical shock during acceleration and deceleration.

All positioning, clamping, cutting, and lubrication functions run on 0.7 MPa compressed air via solenoid valves — no hydraulic oil to maintain or replace. The pneumatic oil pump delivers filtered lubricant directly to the die zone, keeping consumable costs low while protecting tube surface quality.
