Seamless steel-pipe barrels ride on P5-accuracy large bearings housed in ductile-iron seats with circulating thin-oil lubrication and labyrinth seals with aluminum-alloy oil throwers, delivering vibration damping and sustained thermal performance during extended runs.
Pneumatic caliper brakes halt the barrel in 3–5 seconds; power-failure braking engages automatically. The fully enclosed cold-rolled steel safety cover features polycarbonate bulletproof observation windows, interior lighting, and nitrogen-spring-assisted doors that open without impact. Galvanized-pipe wire-break sensors stop the machine instantly if any single wire fractures.
A Siemens PLC paired with a Siemens touchscreen HMI centralizes monitoring of speed, twist distance, inverter faults, wire-break status, and safety-cover position. Mechanical plus electrical dual metering provides cross-verified length tracking, and a power-off non-stop function prevents unplanned downtime during brief supply interruptions.
An independent frequency-conversion take-up motor with horizontal pneumatic top-cone clamping and a lifting mechanism handles reels up to 400-type. Servo motor and ball-screw wire arrangement delivers constant-tension, level-wound spools, reducing post-processing rework and improving downstream feeding reliability.
