Key Features

Two conical rolls extrude steel strip into helical blades through controlled relative movement, producing blades with uniform thickness and minimal dimensional error. The resulting surface is smooth with increased surface hardness from the cold working process, eliminating secondary finishing in most applications.

A single pair of conical rolls covers inner diameters from 25mm and outer diameters from 90mm to 800mm. Operators adjust roll positioning rather than swapping tooling, which significantly reduces changeover time when switching between blade specifications on the same production run.

The dual-motor drive system operates at a base speed of 980 r/min with variable frequency regulation, giving operators real-time control over roll speed. This is critical when processing different strip thicknesses or material grades — slower speeds for 8mm high carbon steel, faster speeds for thinner, softer stock.
