Two 2.6KW servo motors handle primary bending while a 0.75KW servo manages fine positioning, maintaining ±1.0mm diameter tolerance across the full forming range up to 1250mm. This closed-loop control eliminates the trial-and-error adjustments common with purely mechanical systems.
All forming wheels are machined from Cr12MoV die steel and vacuum heat-treated to HRC 60-62. This combination resists surface wear and edge chipping when processing carbon steel strip at thicknesses up to 3.5mm, significantly extending intervals between tooling replacement.
Coil feeding, hole punching, clamp forming, and hydraulic cut-off occur in a single pass at speeds up to 2m/min. By consolidating four operations into one machine, manufacturers eliminate work-in-progress inventory between stations and reduce total floor space requirements.
The PLC and touchscreen panel allow operators to set target batch quantities, strip feed length, and forming diameter from a single interface. The built-in counter triggers an automatic alarm or machine stop when the batch target is reached, supporting unattended or low-supervision operation.
A dedicated 5.5KW hydraulic motor powers the cut-off unit, delivering consistent shearing force regardless of strip thickness. Imported solenoid valves control the hydraulic circuit, ensuring repeatable cycle times and long service life under continuous production conditions.
