Thick Pipe Multi Knife Pipe Cutting Machine

Eight blade sets are spaced along the mandrel shaft to cut a 1650 mm mother tube into multiple finished lengths in a single stroke. This parallel cutting approach multiplies output compared to single-blade machines and ensures uniform length across every piece in the batch.

The cutting action is powered by compressed air at 0.6 MPa, providing smooth and consistent blade travel regardless of wall thickness — up to 20 mm. Pneumatic operation eliminates the hydraulic oil contamination risk that is unacceptable in paper tube environments.

Once the mother tube is loaded manually onto the mandrel, the automatic chuck locks it firmly in place without operator intervention. This prevents tube slippage during cutting, reduces edge deformation, and protects operators from contact with moving blades.

Supporting inner diameters from 50 mm to 152 mm and cut lengths from 90 mm to 1600 mm, the machine handles textile cores, film winding tubes, packaging cores, and specialty industrial tubes on the same platform — reducing the need for multiple dedicated cutters.

A 380V three-phase motor, standard compressed air supply, and 1–2 person operation keep energy and labor expenses minimal. The included spare blades and tooling extend maintenance intervals, maximizing uptime during production runs.
