Key Features

The PID + SSR integrated controller paired with a PT100 platinum resistance sensor maintains chamber temperature within ±0.5℃ fluctuation and ±2℃ uniformity. This level of control ensures that every test cycle produces consistent, comparable results — critical for quality certifications and material qualification programs.

The tower-type spray system uses a crystallization-free nozzle engineered to produce finer mist particles with even distribution throughout the 600×900×500mm test chamber. Salt spray precipitation is held at 1–2 ml/80 cm²·h, conforming to international test standards such as ASTM B117 and ISO 9227. A salt liquid preheating system ensures the spray solution reaches chamber temperature before entering the test space, preventing localized cooling that could distort corrosion patterns.

Operators can configure test durations from 1 to 999 units in seconds, minutes, or hours, with separate spray timing control (1–99 units, adjustable period). Both continuous and periodic spray modes are available, allowing the chamber to run neutral salt spray (NSS), acetic acid salt spray (ASS), or alternating salt spray protocols depending on your testing requirements.

An inline water quality filter installed at the suction pipe captures particulates before they reach the nozzle, preventing blockages during long unattended test runs. The all-independent titanium alloy heating system resists chemical corrosion from saline environments, extending heater service life. Standard funnels and measuring cylinders are included for straightforward salt fluid collection and verification.

A transparent hinged lid allows real-time visual inspection of test samples without interrupting the spray cycle. The front-mounted control panel with LED displays, gauges, and visible fluid-level reservoirs gives operators immediate status feedback, reducing the need to open the chamber or connect external monitoring equipment.

Technical Specifications

Salt spray test chamber is an environmental test which USES the salt spray test chamber to create artificial simulated environment conditions to evaluate the corrosion resistance of products or metal materials. It is divided into two categories, one is natural environmental exposure test, the other is artificial accelerated simulated salt spray environmental test. The artificial simulated salt spray environment test is a kind of test equipment with a certain volume space, salt spray test box, in its volume space, the artificial method to create salt spray environment to test the quality of corrosion resistance to salt spray. Compared with the natural environment, the chlorinity of its salt spray environment can be several times or dozens of times of the content of salt spray in the general natural environment, which greatly improves the corrosion speed and shortens the time of obtaining the results of the salt spray test. If a sample of a product is tested under natural exposure, it may take one year for its corrosion to occur, while a similar result can be obtained after 24 hours of testing under artificially simulated salt spray conditions.
