Paper Box Window Patching Machine

Two sets of servo-driven feeding sections, combined with OMRON proximity switches and photoelectric sensors, maintain precise paper-to-film alignment throughout the gluing and patching cycle. Paste error is minimized across the full speed range, reducing film waste and rejected output.

The machine processes kraft paper from 150 g/m² to 1,200 g/m², white cardboard from 230 g/m² to 1,200 g/m², and corrugated stock up to 3 mm thick. Film thickness acceptance ranges from 0.038 mm to 0.25 mm with a maximum unwinding diameter of 400 mm, accommodating long production runs without frequent roll changes.

The Weinview 7-inch HMI provides real-time production data and parameter input. Job changeovers between different carton sizes and window shapes are handled through the touchscreen, reducing downtime and eliminating the need for skilled mechanical adjustment.

The electrical system is built around OMRON PLC logic, Panasonic servo drives, INVT frequency conversion, and Schneider protection devices — all sourced from established automation brands. This component selection supports continuous shift operation with predictable maintenance intervals.

At 4,600 mm long and 1,300 mm wide, the machine integrates into packaging lines where floor space is limited. The five-section inline layout — feeding, positioning, gluing, film sticking, and delivery — eliminates the need for separate workstations or manual transfer between processes.
