Key Features
The machine uses Schneider Electric controls, an imported frequency converter, PLC touch screen interface, and industrial-grade relays and proximity switches. This combination ensures consistent performance over long production runs, reduces unplanned downtime, and simplifies diagnostics for maintenance teams.
A high-frequency power supply delivers tightly controlled weld energy, producing seam weld points spaced at 0.5–0.8 mm. Combined with selectable lap widths (0.6 mm to 1.2 mm depending on model), the machine creates uniform, leak-proof longitudinal seams on tinplate as thin as 0.18 mm without burn-through.
The double-wheel drive mechanism feeds and flattens copper welding wire at a consistent rate, eliminating wire jams and ensuring even electrode contact. Automatic wire cut-off at cycle end reduces manual trimming and keeps the line moving at production speeds of up to 20 cans per minute (BO-286S).
The integrated sizing track and guide wheel assembly allows operators to switch between can diameters and heights quickly. This modular design reduces changeover time between product batches, which is critical for factories producing multiple can sizes on the same line.
Both models handle tinplate and steel-based substrates in thicknesses from 0.18–0.42 mm. The BO-286S also accommodates galvanized sheet and stainless steel, giving can makers flexibility to produce food cans, chemical containers, and aerosol bodies on a single machine.
