Key Features

The main spindle assembly uses imported bearings with oil-splash lubrication, holding radial and end runout within 0.01 mm. This level of control translates directly into consistent sphericity and surface quality across large batch volumes—critical for bearing balls, valve balls, and other precision spherical components.

Headstock advancement is driven hydraulically and guided by roll linear guide ways, mechanically isolating the pressurization function from the sliding structure. This separation reduces uneven wear on the lapping plates and maintains uniform material removal even at full working pressures up to 100 KN.

Both the rotating disk and the feeding plate use frequency-conversion stepless regulation, giving operators continuous adjustment of spindle speed (up to 60 r/min depending on model) and feed rate (as low as 0.03 r/min). This allows precise matching of lapping parameters to ball diameter, material hardness, and target surface finish.

The integrated PC control system manages process parameters while a ball-pile switch at the inlet detects material flow irregularities and a spindle stop protection device halts the machine if abnormal conditions are detected. These features reduce scrap rates and protect both the operator and the equipment.

Machines in this series weigh between 5,300 kg and 9,500 kg, built on rigid cast structures designed for continuous factory operation. The robust frame absorbs vibration during high-pressure lapping, preserving accuracy over years of production use.
