The workpiece spindle offers continuously variable (stepless) rotation from 28 to 140 rpm, letting operators dial in the exact surface speed for each material and grit stage. Combined with the 2,900 rpm polishing wheel, this dual-speed architecture gives full control over material removal rate and final surface quality.
Instead of mechanical jaws or clamps, the fixture uses vacuum suction at 0.5–0.8 MPa working pressure to grip the cookware from below. This prevents denting, scratching, or deforming thin-walled pieces during polishing and allows one-hand loading and unloading — shortening each cycle by several seconds.
A single MB4220-A handles prototyping and small-batch work. For high-volume cookware plants, two or more machines can be arranged in series — one per polishing stage — so each piece moves from rough to mirror finish in a continuous flow without rework or bottlenecks.
The polishing wheel mount accepts wheels up to 200 mm in diameter across various media types — sisal, cotton cloth, nylon abrasive — and the workpiece fixture can be custom-manufactured to match any round cookware profile. One machine platform serves pots, pans, bowls, and similar hollowware.
The dedicated control panel with clearly labeled buttons and gauges, plus a foot pedal for hands-free cycle activation, keeps the operator focused on workpiece quality rather than machine operation. At approximately 1,500 kg on a cast-iron and steel frame, the machine absorbs vibration and maintains positional accuracy over long production runs.
