Two independent polishing stations operate simultaneously, each with its own main motor (11 kW), workpiece rotation motor (0.75 kW), and reciprocating motor (0.37 kW). This configuration allows one operator to manage the output that would typically require two separate machines, directly reducing labor cost per unit.
Workpiece rotation speed is variable from 28 to 140 rpm, and polishing stroke length, reciprocating travel, and cycle duration are all independently adjustable. Operators can dial in parameters for different alloys — stainless steel, aluminum, copper — and switch between rough grinding and final buffing without hardware changes.
Pneumatic vacuum holding (0.5–0.8 MPa air supply) grips pot bodies and lids firmly at the center without edge clamps or jaws. This eliminates clamping marks on finished goods, reduces setup time between pieces, and allows quick changeover between pot bodies up to 400 × 350 mm and lids up to 400 × 50 mm.
The machine frame and spindle assemblies use a reinforced design that minimizes vibration transmission to the polishing contact zone. Lower vibration means more consistent surface finishes, longer polishing wheel life, and reduced operator fatigue during extended production runs.
Belt-driven spindles, standard motors, and accessible component layout simplify routine maintenance. Polishing wheels up to 430 × 330 mm are mounted on standard arbors for fast replacement, keeping downtime between wheel changes to a minimum.
