Automatic Stainless Steel Utensils Polishing Machine

The machine operates under PLC control with an HMI panel, enabling repeatable polishing programs for each product type. Once a recipe is set, operators simply load workpieces — the gantry arm, spindle speed, and feed path execute automatically. This eliminates the skill variance inherent in manual polishing and ensures batch-to-batch surface consistency.

With a production rate of 200–300 finished pieces per 8-hour shift, one machine with a single operator replaces a team of manual polishers. The 4 kW power draw keeps energy costs proportionate, and the variable spindle speed (0–1,400 r/min) avoids wasted cycle time by matching speed to each finishing stage.

The polishing head accommodates abrasive belts, nylon belts, and other media, allowing the same machine to perform coarse material removal, directional surface drawing, and fine finishing. Changeover between abrasive types is straightforward, minimizing downtime when switching between product lines or finish specifications.

At 1,500 kg, the painted steel frame and gantry structure are built to absorb vibration and maintain positional accuracy through extended production runs. Pneumatic lines and hardened mechanical linkages are rated for continuous duty in factory environments where dust and metal particulate are constant factors.

The 1,900 × 900 × 1,900 mm envelope fits into standard production bays, and the separate wheeled control cabinet can be positioned for optimal operator access. The built-in residue collection basin reduces housekeeping burden and supports compliance with factory cleanliness standards.
