The machine feeds flat metal strip from an integrated spool and forms it into a tightly interlocked flexible hose profile in one uninterrupted pass. This eliminates secondary joining steps and produces consistent interlock geometry across the full diameter range of ¢8mm to ¢200mm.
A variable-frequency drive regulates the 1.1–2.2 kW motor, giving operators precise control over forming speed between 2.0 and 2.5 m/min. This allows fine-tuning based on strip material, thickness, and target hose diameter — preventing material deformation while maximizing throughput.
The roller forming section handles stainless steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum strip ranging from 0.17mm to 0.50mm thick. With over 300 moulds available for customized production, NTBOBO can configure the machine for nine standard nominal sizes or engineer tooling for non-standard specifications.
Designed so a single operator can run four machines at once, the system minimizes staffing requirements on the production floor. The mechanical layout provides direct access to forming rollers, dies, and the feed mechanism for fast changeovers and routine servicing without specialized tools.
At 950mm × 850mm × 1400mm and 660–1250 kg depending on configuration, the machine integrates into existing metalworking lines with minimal infrastructure changes. The 380V / 50Hz / 3-phase electrical system matches standard industrial power supplies across most manufacturing regions.
