Key Features

This machine forms spiral corrugated pipes from 600mm up to 3600mm diameter without requiring a separate forming line for each size. Operators adjust parameters via the PLC touch screen to switch between diameters, reducing capital investment compared to running multiple dedicated machines.

Steel strip is fed from the vertical decoiler and formed into a helical corrugated profile with a mechanical spiral lock seam. This seaming method produces a consistent, leak-resistant joint along the full pipe length, critical for post-tension ducts and drainage culverts where structural integrity under soil loading is non-negotiable.

Pipes are cut to the programmed length directly on the forming line using a plasma torch. This eliminates the need for offline sawing or grinding, reduces material waste from inaccurate manual cuts, and keeps the production cycle uninterrupted.

All forming parameters — speed, pipe length, corrugation profile — are entered and monitored through a centralized PLC touch screen panel. This reduces operator training time and ensures repeatable output quality shift after shift, even with less experienced personnel.

At 10 tons with a motorized-hydraulic hybrid drive, the machine is engineered for continuous industrial operation. The robust frame and forming rollers withstand the forces required to corrugate 2–3mm steel strip at production speeds, delivering reliable uptime over years of service.
