The 0–13 m/min adjustable feeding speed is managed through an inverter drive, giving operators precise control over production rate. This allows fine-tuning for different strip thicknesses within the 0.2–0.3 mm range and different pipe diameters, resulting in consistent corrugation quality across the full 35–150 mm output range.
Each pipe is formed with a double lock-seam — a mechanical interlock that delivers superior seam strength compared to single-lock designs. For post-tension applications, this means reliable containment of grout and protection of prestressing tendons over the service life of highways, bridges, and airport structures.
At 650 kg with a 1300 × 1800 × 1300 mm footprint, the BPT-135/150 is designed for relocation. Construction contractors can produce corrugated duct directly at the project site, eliminating transport damage, reducing lead times, and allowing real-time adjustment of pipe quantities to match pour schedules.
The machine uses a narrow 36 mm galvanized steel strip with a 28 mm spiral pitch, minimizing edge trim and scrap. Combined with the low combined motor power of under 8 kW, operating costs per linear meter remain well below those of larger, heavier machines targeting similar diameter ranges.
The heavy-duty painted steel frame, integrated lubrication system (dedicated 0.125 kW motor), and multi-roller forming head are built for continuous production runs. NTBOBO’s in-house mould inventory of 300+ sets ensures replacement tooling and spare parts are readily available for long-term support.
